By blending cinematic techniques with a deep understanding of each organization’s mission, we create videos that not only inform but inspire.
TWO PARROT APPROACH TO NONPROFIT VIDEO PRODUCTION
Creating a nonprofit video requires time, expertise, and a clear, collaborative process. At Two Parrot Productions, our expert video storytellers guide you through each step of our proven development and production process, ensuring a smooth and low-stress experience for everyone involved.
PROPOSALS, BUDGET, AND TIMETABLE
After understanding your goals, values, budget, and timeline, our team will pitch concepts, deliverables, and a detailed scope of work.
CONTRACTS & INSURANCE
We handle all contract writing and insurance paperwork, ensuring you're protected by our $1 million general liability insurance policy. Our comprehensive client user guide will walk you through every step.
LOCATION SCOUTING
To save costs, we often ask clients to handle location scouting and bookings directly, leveraging their existing logistical relationships. We request photos of interview locations so we can provide coaching to enhance the setup.
SCHEDULING & INTERVIEW PREPARATION
We schedule personnel, locations, and equipment, create shot lists, and arrange travel to ensure a seamless production process.
HISTORICAL ASSET REVIEW
We ask you to gather and upload historical videos and photos to our Google Drive. These assets will be used as B-Roll to complement talking head interviews.
PREPARATION OF PRODUCTION DOCUMENTS
We create a detailed Call Sheet, including dates, times, locations, equipment, cast, crew, phone numbers, instructions, interview questions, talking points, and a shot list.
SCRIPT WRITING
At the start of production, we ask you to provide a one-page summary of key points you want in the video. This helps us craft interview questions and extract quotes from transcripts that align with your vision.
VIDEO PRODUCTION (FILMING)
Many shoots are completed in one day, with A-Roll interviews captured in the morning and B-Roll in the afternoon. We can also digitize any important historical documents as needed.
TRANSCRIPTS
We use an AI platform to convert video content into text and video replay. This allows us to craft the story from interview transcripts, ensuring authenticity.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
We utilize AI tools to enhance and supplement the provided imagery, ensuring the final product is visually engaging.
VIDEO EDITING & REVISIONS
We start with an A-Roll version for storyline approval, then add B-Roll, music, color grading, audio mixing, final graphics, and subtitles. While some clients are satisfied with the first draft, others may need revisions. We offer up to five drafts, including four rounds of revisions from the initial draft.
PROJECT CLOSEOUT
We issue the final invoice only when you are satisfied. We then deliver all raw and edited content in various master and web formats to complete our contractual obligations.
